Not everyone likes water, you know, the fluid that makes life possible? Here are some ways to jazz it up and work toward that elusive clear pee that signifies your body is lubed and ready for peak performance.
Water + Lemon
Adding lemons to water is basic, but bitch have you tried it?
The immediate benefits for anyone drinking the citrus liquid is aide with digestion and fresher breath.
An effervescent nectar with a wide range of flavors to choose from. Add extra pizzazz with squeezed lemon, lime, or muddle any other fruit. The whole fruit addition will up the nutritional value. Seltzer water bubbles are often more palatable for the nauseous tongue.
Coconut water has a high nutritional value for a drink so low in calories. It’s a great choice to replenish your body with electrolytes and is especially useful for those sick with the flu or a nasty tequila virus.
A word of caution with coconut water. Depending on which brand you choose, it can be quite high in sugar content. Look for brands that don’t pasteurize their product. Also, coconut water is from young green coconuts. Those hairy brown ones from the store contain coconut milk, not coconut water.
